Gauteng Bye Laws — General Administration

Summary:

Rules and procedures governing the general administration, executive committee, and governance of table tennis in Gauteng.

## 1. Name

The association shall be known as Gauteng Table Tennis (GTT).

## 2. Objects

The objects of GTT are to promote, develop, and administer the sport of table tennis in the Gauteng province in accordance with the rules and guidelines of SATTB and ITTF.

## 3. Membership

Membership is open to all clubs, associations, and individual players within Gauteng who comply with these bye laws and the national constitution.

## 4. Executive Committee

The executive committee shall consist of a President, Vice-President, Secretary-General, Treasurer, and up to four ordinary members, elected at the Annual General Meeting.

## 5. Meetings

The Annual General Meeting shall be held within 60 days of the end of the financial year. Special general meetings may be called by the President or on written request of at least one-third of member clubs.

## 6. Finances

The financial year shall run from 1 April to 31 March. All funds shall be deposited in an approved banking institution and withdrawals shall require the signatures of two authorised signatories.
